Der Klingonen Bird-of-Prey ist eine kleine, wendige Fregatte, die von der KVS für eine breites Spektrum von Kampfszenarien entworfen wurde. Dieses extrem vielseitige Raumschiff ist hervorragend bei Überfällen und Begegnungen, aufgrund seiner hohen Manövrierfähigkeit und seines Tarngeräts.

Das Aussehen des Bird-of-Prey hängt von seiner Stufe ab, obwohl seine Bewaffnung und Fertigkeiten gleich bleiben.

• “Boldly They Rode”: Birds-of-Prey are among the joint Starfleet/KDF task force attempting to retake Deep Space 9 from Dominion occupation, one of which crashes into the station after being shot down by Dominion ships.
• Borg Invasion of Defera: A Bird-of-Prey can be seen on the surface of Defera, aiding in the joint KDF/Starfleet operations to repel the Borg invasion of the planet.
• “alpha”: A Bird-of-Prey commanded by Captain K'Teng has crashed on Orith II after being ambushed by Hirogen hunters, KDF players being tasked with aiding the survivors in defeating them.
• “Report to Gamma Orionis”: The I.K.S. ChoS and I.K.S. Q'thoq are among a Klingon fleet assembled to counter the threat of the Borg.
• “Die Neue Verbindung” (KDF): Several Birds-of-Prey, including the I.K.S. Norgh, attack an Alpha Jem'Hadar base in the Orias System.
• “Menschenjagd”: A B'rel-class Bird-of-Prey, representing the player's ship, rescues the player from corrupt prison officials on Rura Penthe.
• “Einflussphäre”: A Klingonen Bird-of-Prey (Mob) arrives to assist the player in battle against an Elachi attack in the Jouret System.
• Birds-of-Prey can be seen patrolling the various regions of the Solanae Dyson Sphere and occasionally assist with various missions therein.
• “Mitternacht”: The I.K.S. Amw'I is part of the Iconian Resistance's final stand in the Sol System.
• “Grenzkriege”: Birds-of-Prey loyal to the House of Torg attempt to prevent the player from escaping with Martok after rescuing him from a Son'a facility in the Briar Patch. During the battle, additional Birds-of-Prey arrive among reinforcements loyal to Martok's house.
• A HoH-SuS-class Bird-of-Prey is carried by the I.K.S. Bortasqu' and is often deployed to assist in battle in missions involving her.

Anmerkungen

• The Birds-of-Prey assimilated by the Borg in “The Cure Found” will use plasma weapons instead of the normal photon and disruptor weapons. However, they will not use the Battle Cloak or Subspace Jump abilities of a normal Bird-of-Prey.
• When KDF players use the Fleet Support ability, a Bird-of-Prey has a chance to appear to aid them in battle.
• The HoH'SuS-class Bird-of-Prey is typically deployed from Bortasqu' Dreadnought Battlecruisers, such as the I.K.S. Bortasqu'.
