Ability: Photon Grenade Launcher Fabrication

Overview

Photon Grenade Launchers combine high damage and long range at the cost of a lengthy reload. The mortar's shell will land several seconds after its targeting circle appears. The delayed shell makes it very difficult to hit moving targets, so measures must be taken to keep enemies within its targeted area. Fortunately, the launcher completely ignores any terrain obstacles, so it can be utilized to deadly effect in cramped indoor areas.

This launcher is a 23rd Century variant of the Quantum Mortar. While all factions can use and acquire this kit module from the Exchange, only TOS Starfleet captains can train their officers.
