Overview[ | ]
Take Cover is a very powerful ability for your team in both PvE and PvP due to the benefits it provides: damage resistance buffs to allies, health regeneration and the knockback / stun / repel immunity. It is very clear and easy to see when playing and this allows allies to take advantage of it.
It has a five-player ally limit, including the player. The buff appears to apply to the four nearest people when the ability is first used. There will be both a visual indicator on the affected player’s model, including additional effects to indicate whether the player is benefitting from the health regen and knock / stun / repel immunity, and a buff icon.
Take Cover disables the ability to sprint for the duration.
Basic Information[ | ]
- Specialization: Command
- Locale: Ground
- Game Description: Issue a command to your nearby allies to take cover! Anyone heeding your advice by entering a crouch will benefit from increased damage resistance, a small amount of regeneration, and immunity knockback, repel and stun effects. Allies daring enough to stay exposed after you’ve told them to take cover will only benefit from increased damage resistance until they, too, crouch.
