The Altamid Adaptation Set is a set of space items that are available from the Lobi Crystal Consortium for 200 each.
Altamid Modified Plasma Omni
- 360' targeting arc
- to target: ___ Plasma Damage (___ DPS)
- -10 Weapon Power to self while this weapon is firing
- 2.5% chance: For 15 sec, -15 Plasma and Kinetic Damage Resistance Rating
- 1 sec recharge
Omni-Directional Beam Array has a 360-degree firing arc, in addition to being able to utilize the standard functions of Beam Array weapons. Only one crafted Omni-Directional Beam may be equipped at a time. Beam Arrays are the most common and versatile weapons available. They fire a series of average damage beams across a wide arc. Energy weapons are equally effective against starship shields and hull. Altamid Plasma weapons have a chance to apply a debuff to enemy plasma and kinetic damage resistance.
This particular weapon has been stripped down and rebuilt a large number of times, and many of its parts have been replaced by older-model Starfleet phaser technology. The result is crude but highly effective, guaranteeing the special Altamid Plasma effect anytime the beam scores a Critical Hit.

Altamid Modified Kelvin Torpedo
- 90' targeting arc
- ____ Kinetic Damage (___ DPS)
- 15% chance: For 15 sec, +3% Critical Chance for Plasma Weapons and Abilities (Always on crit)
- 4 sec recharge
The Altamid Modified Kelvin Torpedo shares an unusually fast cycle time with other Kelvin Torpedoes, but this one is a plasma torpedo, though it still deals kinetic damage. Occasionally, the weapon's backblast will supersaturate the plasma conduits in the ship's weapon systems, providing a bonus to Critical Chance for all plasma weapons. This effect is guaranteed anytime the torpedo itself scores a Critical Hit. Starfleet torpedo hulls, Altamid plasma warheads, Altamid drive coordination tech, Starfleet computing, and a hybrid propulsion system. This weapon has been field-modified to the point where it's no longer recognizable. Some clues to its origin remain - the Starfleet technology is very old, and some of it appears sourced from precursor military organizations. The Altamid alien technology is comparatively much more advanced, but had sharp lacks in areas where the Starfleet technology excelled.

Altamid Modified Swarm Processor
+3% Critical Chance
+26.7 Accuracy Rating
This Console improves Accuracy and Critical Chance, as well as controlling a small Altamid Drone craft to support the host vessel. If the Drone should be destroyed, a new one is replicated and deployed after a recharge period. This hybridized console combines Starfleet technology with Altamid alien technology in a very highly iterated way. Whoever designed this did so gradually, patiently iterating on prior attempts still visible in the code like rings in a tree trunk. This result combines distributed drone technology with Starfleet's massive computer power to hone a decisive battlefield edge.
For each item added after the first, an additional power is available.
Set 2: Plasma Saturation Bombardment
- On crit or miss: Fire a bolt at the target, dealing ___ Plasma Damage (Max 2 per sec)
- Skills that affect this ability:
- Target Self
- 2 min recharge
- 100% Firing Cycle Haste for Weapons for 12 sec
- Items in this set are strangely abbreviated, the "Altamid Modified Swarm Processor" is a Universal Console, and the "Altamid Modified Plasma Omni" is an Omni-Directional Beam Array.
