The Amarie-class Smuggler's Heavy Escort is a Tier 6 Heavy Escort / Escort hybrid which may be flown by characters of any faction. This starship can be used from any level upon completion of the tutorial experience. As you level up, this ship gains additional hull, weapon slots, and console slots.
Players can obtain this starship from a [Special Requisition Choice Pack - Tier 6 Promotional Ship Choice Pack], which has a ultra rare chance to drop from a [Infinity Promotion R&D Pack] or a [Infinity Promotion Duty Officer Pack]. This box is bound to you until a ship is chosen. The boxed ship is not bound and so may be traded to other players or bought and sold on the Exchange for energy credits under the name [Special Requisition Pack - Amarie-class Smuggler's Heavy Escort [T6]].
This ship could also be purchased as an account-unlock from the Zen Store as a possible choice from the Mudd's Stealing Time Choice Pack as part of "Mudd's Market", available from May 19, 2020 to August 4, 2020. Like all items in the Market, the Bundle periodically goes on massive discounts (upwards of 60% during special promotional sales).
Overview[ | ]
After inheriting a fleet of these armed vessels from her deceased ex-husband, the musician and entrepreneur Amarie used these ships - commonly considered to represent the pinnacle of civilian warship engineering - to carve out an economic empire for herself over the course of many years. Now seeking retirement, she has worked with an old Ferengi business contact to sell off the fleet, and the means to produce more of these formidably-armed freighters. Ever a vain one, Amarie insisted her name be affixed to the starships as part of the contract.
Amarie-class Smuggler’s Heavy Escorts are heavily armed and armored, and capable of standing toe-to-toe with most warships of the modern era. In addition to its considerable armaments, each of these vessels puts a full suite of freighter amenities at the disposal of their captain and crew, accessible by visiting the ship's interior.

Abilities[ | ]
Universal console[ | ]
The Amarie-class Smuggler's Heavy Escort comes equipped with the [Console - Universal - Supplemental Weaponry Controller].
Cloak
The Amarie-class Smuggler's Heavy Escort has a cloak that allows the ship to cloak when not in combat, granting stealth and a damage bonus upon decloaking.
Experimental Weapon[]
The Amarie-class Smuggler's Heavy Escort comes with an Experimental Weapon slot. This additional slot does not fit standard weapons. Unlike standard starship weapons, Experimental weapons are not affected by weapon firing modes, such as those granted by bridge officer abilities. This vessel comes with the unique [Experimental "Slamshot" Magnetic Artillery Mk XII], a slow-firing kinetic cannon that suffers from an accuracy penalty, but can cripple a foe with a single shot when it hits, and lower the target's Kinetic Damage Resistance Rating in the process.
Onboard amenities[ | ]
The Amarie-class starship interior has several onboard features shared only by the Tuffli Class Freighter, Suliban Cell Ship and Ferengi starships.
- A Trader Contact NPC (similar to the one at Deep Space Nine) that offers Trade Assignments.
- A Quartermaster Vendor who sells commodities at Specialized Commodities Broker rates.
- Bank, Exchange and Mail terminals.
The ship's owner can access them by selecting "Visit Starship Bridge" on the dropdown menu, and once onboard, can share them with friends by sending Bridge Invitations.
Specialization seating
The Amarie-class Smuggler's Heavy Escort features the following specialist seats:
- Lieutenant Tactical/Pilot
- Lieutenant Commander Universal/Intelligence
Standard configuration[ | ]
These starships come with standard equipment and weapons of the lowest mark available at the ship's minimum rank. The items provided are appropriate to the type of vessel and its related playing style.

This table shows how the ship's hull strength scales at each level. The base hull of all scaling starships is 10,000, which is then multiplied by the ship's hull modifier (1.15 for the Amarie-class Smuggler's Heavy Escort), and then multiplied by the scaling multiplier below at each level.
