Overview[]
Named after the Vesta-class vessel U.S.S. Aventine which served as a test bed for future ship advancements such as the Quantum Slipstream Drive, the Aventine class has a sharper saucer and its pylons are angled forward - these features give the ship a more sleek profile than the original Vesta. These vessels are quite powerful and equipped with the latest technology Starfleet has to offer.

The Aventine-class Multi-Mission Reconnaissance Explorer comes equipped with the [Console - Universal - Quantum Field Focus Controller], which is part of the Experimental Systems Set. Other consoles from this set can be equipped for set bonuses and additional abilities; if fully combined, this set gives access to the Quantum Focused Shield Bubble ability.
It can also equip consoles from the Alliance Multi-Mission Systems Set that comes with the tier 6 Multi-Mission Explorers.
Hangar bay[]
The Aventine-class Multi-Mission Reconnaissance Explorer comes equipped with a single wing of Danube Runabouts.
These light crafts are equipped with Phaser Array and Micro Photon Torpedoes, with access to Tractor Beam I.
Carrier commands[]
- Carrier Command - Attack
- Carrier Command - Escort
- Carrier Command - Intercept
- Carrier Command - Recall
Sensor Analysis[]
Sensor Analysis is an active toggle ability. While maintaining a Sensor Lock on a target, the player gains a stacking effect that either improves the damage and power drain against an enemy, or improves any heal directed towards an ally. This effect stacks every 3 seconds, to a maximum of 6 stacks after 18 continuous seconds. To maintain the desired effect, the player must hold the sensor lock.
Subsystem Targeting[]
The Aventine-class Multi-Mission Reconnaissance Explorer comes with built-in Subsystem Targeting abilities. These built-in abilities stay at Rank I and do not automatically rank up when acquiring higher tier Science starships. They are separate from Subsystem Targeting abilities gained through Tactical Space Bridge officer abilities.
- Target Auxiliary Subsystems I
- Target Weapons Subsystems I
- Target Engines Subsystems I
- Target Shields Subsystems I
Activating a subsystem targeting ability will upgrade all energy weapons to inflict a stacking power drain on the foe's targeted subsystem for the next 10 seconds. They will also have a small chance to knock the targeted subsystem offline for a short duration.
Special weapon[]
The Multi-Mission Reconnaissance Explorer comes equipped with the unique [Aux Phaser Dual Heavy Cannons Mk XII]. Their damage is calculated using the ship's Auxiliary Power level instead of Weapon Power, and they consume Auxiliary Power when fired. It can be claimed multiple times, but they are limited to Vesta variants.
Standard configuration[]
Federation starships come with standard equipment and weapons of the lowest mark available at the ship's minimum rank. The items provided are appropriate to the type of vessel and its related playing style.
