The Badlands (also known as the Lands of Wonder) is a region of space known for intense plasma storms and gravitational anomalies located in the Cardassia Sector within the territory of the Terran Empire.

“Jabberwocky”: Using a portal opened by the True Way, player crosses to the Mirror Universe equivalent of the Badlands. Informed that there might be an intrusion, Leeta is already there, waiting. When her forces are destroyed and I.S.S. Fortuna disabled, Leeta admits that she had underestimated the player, but promises she won't make same mistake twice.

- While the plasma storms which form the Prime Universe version of the Badlands are orange in color, plasma storms which form the Mirror Universe version are cyan. The reason for this difference hasn't been explained.
