Special Body Armors
Some missions in the game reward special body armor, which are based on existing armors:
- [Diburnium Reinforced Body Armor], a type of Energy Dampening Armor with additional Phaser and Disruptor resistance.
- [Exo-Plating Armor], a type of Polyalloy Weave Armor with additional Plasma resistance.
- [Klingon Intelligence Stealth Utility Armor [HP] [RegHP]], a type of Physical Augmentation Armor with additional Stealth and StealthSight.
- [Neutronium-Laced Combat Armor] - a unique type of armor with large additional Maximum Hit Points.
- [Physical Augmentation Utility Armor], a hybrid Recoil Compensating-Physical Augmentation Armor.
- [Polyalloy Weave Armor Mk X [Mob] [Tox]] - unique mods found on armor from a Box - Invasion Requisitions.
- [Stealth Operational Armor Mk XIII]] - similar to Energy Harness et al. armor above, but instead of additional Energy Damage, it gives increased exploit damage, expose chance, expose duration, and stealth.
Players who purchased the Digital Deluxe Edition of Star Trek Online can claim a special body armor:
- Chromodynamic Armor, a type of Polyalloy Weave Armor. Not available at endgame-capable mark levels.
Set Armor
Numerous ground sets incorporate Body Armor as part of a 3-set bonus. See the Set page for details.
Modifiers
There are two factors that can affect body armor. These are modifier suffixes and spent player skill points.
Modifier Suffix
Uncommon Body Armors will have one modifier suffix, Rare will have two and Very Rare will have three. The same modifiers may appear multiple times (e.g. [Acc]x2, [Cap]x3, etc.).
