The Cardassian Galor Cruiser is a Tier 5 (Level 40) Cruiser which may be flown by characters of any faction.

Players can obtain this starship from the [Cardassian Lock Box] or the [Cardassian Lock Box - Gold]. If obtained through this source, the boxed ship is not bound and so may be traded to other players or bought and sold on the Exchange for energy credits under the name [Special Requisition Pack - Cardassian Galor Cruiser].

The Cardassian Galor Cruiser can also be obtained from the Zen Store as part of the following bundles: Cardassian Intel Bundle for 6,000 , and the Gamma Vanguard Pack for 15,000 . It is not visible in the Zen Store until you buy one of these bundles. After purchase, it will be claimable as part of the bundle or under the Tier 5 tab in the Ships section of the Zen Store.

Overview

The broken alliance between the Cardassians and the Dominion was one of the pivotal conflicts of the Dominion War. Faced with the loss of a valuable ally and continued pressure from the allied forces of the Alpha Quadrant, the Founders were forced to retreat to a hostile Cardassia Prime where Damar led a popular revolt that sapped away Dominion soldiers and resources. This rebellion opened the door for the Dominion's ultimate defeat.

Recently declassified documents reveal that during the rebellion, Damar arranged for a small surplus of Cardassian Galor-class warships to be given to both the Federation and the Klingon Empire to aid in their efforts fighting the Jem'Hadar. With the threat of the Dominion again looming, the Cardassian Detapa Council has finally agreed to release these forgotten vessels for Starfleet and Klingon Defense Force use.

Class variants

Class	Information
Galor-class	The Galor-class is a versatile Cardassian-built cruiser with a long history, reaching back to the days of the Cardassian-Federation War. It is used by the Cardassian Union and the True Way Alliance. The class has been built by the Cardassian Union for the last fifty years and served as the Cardassians' workhorse during the Dominion War. After the war, many of these ships were stolen by the True Way. The Galor skin is unlocked for free.
Keldon-class	The Keldon-class is a Cardassian-built battleship used by both the Cardassian Union and the True Way Alliance throughout the Cardassian Front. They have a similar design to the Galor Class, but are larger and slower. The Keldon skin is unlocked for free, and can be used on the Cardassian Galor Cruiser provided the player owns the Cardassian Keldon Cruiser.

When the Cardassian Galor Cruiser is claimed, four [Spiral Wave Disruptor [Acc]x2 [Spiral]] will be added to the player's inventory. Once the ship is acquired, you can buy additional Spiral Wave Disruptors from the Dilithium Store for 45,380 each on that character.
