Christopher Doohan

Scotty in the 23rd Century.

Christopher "Chris" Doohan is one of the sons of James Doohan who portrayed Montgomery Scott (Scotty) in Star Trek: The Original Series, in the first seven movies, and in a guest appearance on Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Chris Doohan has made cameo appearances in Star Trek: The Motion Picture and Star Trek 2009, and had a credited role in Star Trek Into Darkness. Doohan was backed by a fan campaign to play his father's role of Scotty for J.J. Abrams' Star Trek, but the role was ultimately awarded to Simon Pegg. In 2012, Chris played Scotty in the award winning web-based fan production, Star Trek Continues and followed that by reprising the role in 2016 by voicing Scotty for Star Trek Online's Agents of Yesterday expansion.
