The Electroceramic Hull Plating is a Engineering Console that improves resistance against plasma and tetryon damage.
Plating provides more resistance than alloys and armor consoles, with the exception of Monotanium Alloy, but against fewer damage types. It becomes available at mark III.

- Although the weapons Plasma Torpedo Launcher and Plasma Mine Launcher contains the title Plasma, it's main damage type is Kinetic. For increasing damage resistance to plasma torpedos and mines, players should use one of the Alloy consoles that boost damage resistance to Kinetic-based weapons, eg. [Console - Engineering - Monotanium Alloy].
- This console will not grant any damage resistance to any torpedo or mine hits, however it will grant some resistance to the Plasma fire damage proc.
