The Energy Signature Dampener is a Mk XII Ship Engineering Console that provides a modest amount of defense, as well as boosting your resistance to proton and antiproton damage.

The stats for each mod give 2/3 what is found on standard Engineering Consoles granting the same stats.
The number given for the [EPS] etc. column is the percentage power transfer/flight turn rate bonus for [EPS] and [Turn], respectively, as well as the flat bonus to damage resistance for both damage types named (eg. Phaser and Disruptor) for [ResPhaDis]. The number for the [HullHeal] column is the flat bonus to the skill for [HullHeal], and the bonus to Damage Resistance Rating to all four damage types named on [Res4a] and [Res4b].

You can obtain Mk XII Rare and Very Rare versions from the Dyson Equipment Requisition boxes you get as you progress through the Dyson Joint Command reputation dailies and hourlies. After completing Tier 5 of the reputation, you can also purchase Mk XII Very Rare versions from the Reputation store for 7,300.
