Players have an innate Resistance Rating vs. Duration of Subsystem Offline of 50. The Subsystem Repair node in the Engineering unlock path of the player's Skills adds another 50 to this value, if it has been chosen. This console and abilities can further add to this value.

The duration of a subsystem offline ability can be calculated with the following formula:

d * (1 / (1 + .1x))

Where d is the subsystem offline ability's unmodified duration and x is the player's total Resistance Rating vs. Duration of Subsystem Offline. [1]
