Special Ability: Dispersing Nanoprobe Assimilator

The Dispersing Nanoprobe Assimilator is a Universal Console of Borg origin.

This console can be equipped on any ship and can be put into any console slot. Player may only equip one of these consoles.

Game Description

With tremendous efficiency and quick action, this console infects nearby foes with nanoprobes capable of assimilating enemies. When activated, this console disperses Borg nanoprobes in a 3km radius to inflict Plasma damage and leave lingering Plasma Damage over time.

If your enemies are destroyed while these nanoprobes are infecting it, they will reconstruct your enemies into allies and preserve their decaying warp cores a little longer. Newly created additions to the Collective will use tractor beams and attempt to fly into your enemies to ignite their decaying warp cores upon their targets. Per activation, up to 10 enemies can be infected with nanoprobes.

This console additionally provides a boost to Maximum Hull Capacity and Control Expertise.

Acquisition

This console was an Event Grand Prize for completing the 2022 "Borg Resurgence" Featured Event, the first part of Event Campaign IV, which ran from February 17, 2022 - March 10, 2022 on PC and from TBA 2022 on Console. Once it is obtained, it becomes unlocked for all characters on the account. It can be claimed at no additional cost via the Reclaim Rewards tab in the Event UI. This console may also be purchasable from Mudd's Market, however availability is not guaranteed.

Upgrading

This console does not have levels and is epic quality by default, thus cannot be upgraded.
