Dark Matter Anomaly
Console - Universal - Micro Dark Matter Anomaly is obtained by the players of all factions from the [Discovery: Unlikely Allies Lock Box]. This console can be equipped on any ship and can be put into any console slot. Player may only equip one of these consoles.
Game Description[]
Activating this console projects a micro Dark Matter Anomaly toward the target. This anomaly will follow the target ship until in range, than seek other ships, repeating until all ships are trapped within it or the duration expires. Ships become caught in gravitational eddies around the anomaly, causing them significant Kinetic damage and dragging them along with the Anomaly. Trace amounts of boronite are sphoned from the area, providing power to the ship subsystems while foes are within the anomaly. Lastly, the anomaly projector provides bonuses to Max Subsystem Power, Exotic Particle Generation and Hull Repair Rating.
A tiny version of the DMA projector allegedly encountered by a far-future Starfleet vessel. How this design made it back to our time is unknown, but the technology involved is extremely advanced, even for such a small anomaly. The power generation inside the console itself is something of a mystery; it does not draw from the warp core. Disassembling it causes it to fold in on itself, collapsing into nothing
