Console - Universal - Programmable Matter Projectors is obtained by the players of all factions from the Emerald Chain Intel Juggernaut. This console can be equipped on any ship and can be put into any console slot. Players may only equip one of these consoles.

Activating this Console sends programmable matter streaming forth along carefully shepherded lines of magnetic force. The matter rapidly assembles into flexible and strong tentacles which seize enemy starships physically, crushing their hulls and preventing operation of their impulse drives. It also reduces Foes' Energy Damage Resistance Rating.
While serving aboard the Viridian, the brilliant scientist Aurellio devised a plan to vent a cloud of programmable matter into a charged particle stream emitted by the deflector. This pushed the matter outwards and cohered it into an immobilizing blob, solving the crisis of the moment and planting the first seeds of the powerful tentacles encountered later by the crew of the U.S.S. Discovery.
This console additionally provides a passive bonus to Cannon Damage and Exotic Particle Generation.
