Crossfire Tribble is a Tribble: a cute, round, furry creature that purrs when touched. It has a tranquilizing effect on most races. This Tribble has been genetically altered so unlike other tribbles, it can be used by Klingons or other hostile species and its beneficial effects change based on your targeting mode.

This Tribble is Polygeminus grex contendo.

Crossfire variant

Petting this subspecies of Tribble will have a different effect based on your current combat mode. When in Shooter mode, the Crossfire Tribble slightly stimulates the body's natural production of adrenaline, improving damage capabilities. If, however, you are in RPG mode, the Crossfire Tribble provides a minor boost to the body's natural ability to resist all types of damage.

Can only be activated out of combat.

• Crossfire Tribble is one of the choice rewards from Uncommon Prize Token, found in the Phoenix Prize Pack.
• This was a Tribble Server reward. Players who participated in the Tribble Weekend from July 1–5, 2011 could claim their free Crossfire Tribble by unlocking it in the Zen Store.
• It was previously available from the Cardassian Lock Box, but it was removed with September 20th, 2012.
• If a bridge officer uses this tribble, they receive the RPG buff regardless of what mode the player is in.
