The Crystal Radiation Projector is a special type of Assault Ground Weapon.
Game Description[]
This unit was created by adapting captured Tholian Crystal technology. When fired, it delivers a concentration of irradiated particles to the target. This is made possible by heavily ionizing subatomic particles and passing them through a firing chamber containing a Tholian crystal. The resulting electromagnetic radiation produced from the process is a radiation effect between Photon and Kinetic energy sources.

The Crystal Radiation Projector can be upgraded through the Gear Upgrade System, and requires Tech Upgrade Kits from the Ground Gear School, or Universal Tech Upgrades.

Special Reward[]
This item could be obtained from completing the Crystalline Cataclysm Event Reputation Project available from November 3 through November 24, 2016. It required a total of 14 Crystal Shards, obtainable from the Level 50+ “Crystalline Cataclysm” PvE Queue, once per 20 hours.
The Crystal Radiation Projector is claimed in a character-bound Reward Pack, and scales the item to a character-appropriate level, when opened:
- Rare Mk XI (Level 50–55)
- Rare Mk XII (Level 55–60)
- Rare Mk XIII (Level 60)
If discarded, the item can be reclaimed at no additional cost through the Dilithium Store.
