The Daedalus-class Temporal Science Vessel is a Tier 2 (Level 10) Science Vessel which may be flown by Starfleet characters, including Federation-aligned Romulan Republic and Dominion characters. All faction restrictions of this starship can be removed by having a level 65 KDF character or by purchasing the Cross Faction Flying unlock from the Zen Store.
Players can obtain this starship from any Ship and Shuttle Requisitions officer for 37,500 under the name Temporal Science Vessel - Daedalus Class. This ship can be purchased individually, or as part of the Temporal Special Agent Pack for 15,000 . This ship was previously available on its own from the Zen Store; players that purchased it from there can still reclaim it from there on all their characters.
Purchasing the Temporal Special Agent Pack for 15,000 unlocks all existing ship variants.
|SKIN UNLOCK: Free with this starship |
A starship design from the early years of Starfleet, the Daedalus-class Science Vessel still serves with distinction. With strong shields and a powerful sensor suite, it is well equipped for missions of research and exploration in the final frontier.
|SKIN UNLOCK: Nautilus Temporal Science Vessel, 3,000 |
Inspired by the 23rd century Daedalus-class vessel, the Nautilus class packs a tactical punch for a science vessel. Starfleet incorporated several new systems on the Nautilus, many of which involved nanotechnology developed in conjunction with the Borg Cooperative.
Temporal Science Vessel comes equipped with the Temporal Destabilization Probe universal console.
Temporal Starships are capable of making subtle alterations on the molecular level through the use of Molecular Reconstruction. This technology allows the starship to assume 1 of 3 different Configurations: Offensive, Defensive and Support.
- (+Max Engine Power, +Turn, +Flight Speed, -Incoming Hull Healing)
- (+Max Shield Power, +Incoming Hull Healing, -Turn, -Flight Speed)
- (+Max Auxiliary Power, +Exotic Damage, +Control Strength, -Energy Weapon Damage)
Each of the configurations generates its own specific counter, which is then used to fuel the Molecular Deconstruction Beam.
- (Scaling Physical DoT, Heals Hull, Disable)
Sensor Analysis is an active toggle ability. While maintaining a Sensor Lock on a target, the player gains a stacking effect that either improves the damage and power drain against an enemy, or improves any heal directed towards an ally. This effect stacks every 3 seconds, to a maximum of 6 stacks after 18 continuous seconds. To maintain the desired effect, the player must hold the sensor lock.
The Daedalus-class Temporal Science Vessel comes with built-in Subsystem Targeting abilities. These built-in abilities stay at Rank I and do not automatically rank up when acquiring higher tier Science starships. They are separate from Subsystem Targeting abilities gained through Tactical Space Bridge officer abilities.
- Target Auxiliary Subsystems I
- Target Weapons Subsystems I
- Target Engines Subsystems I
- Target Shields Subsystems I
Activating a subsystem targeting ability will upgrade all energy weapons to inflict a stacking power drain on the foe's targeted subsystem for the next 10 seconds. They will also have a small chance to knock the targeted subsystem offline for a short duration.
Starships come with standard equipment and weapons of the lowest mark available at the ship's minimum rank. The items provided are appropriate to the type of vessel and its related playing style.
