Davis, as he appeared during the original tutorial
- Davis appeared as Tactical Officer of the Khitomer (not Science Officer) in the “Khitomer Crisis” segment of the original Federation tutorial, in which the player helped Davis retake the Khitomer from a Borg boarding party. His character was removed from the game with the revamp of the Federation tutorial as part of Season Eight: The Sphere. Since then, he is only mentioned by the EMH.
- In the previous 2013 iteration of the tutorial, Davis is mentioned by Captain Jay Yim (who is not immediately incapacitated). He directly speaks with the player and refers to him as his Chief Science Officer.
