The Dewan Vandros-class Pilot Escort is a Tier 6 Escort which may be flown by Romulan Republic characters, as well as characters of any other faction. All faction restrictions of this starship can be removed by having a level 65 KDF character or by purchasing the Cross Faction Flying unlock from the Zen Store. This starship can be used from any level upon completion of the tutorial experience. As you level up, this ship gains additional hull, weapon slots, and console slots.

Players can obtain this starship from the Zen Store for 3,000 . This ship can be purchased individually, or as part of the Allied Pilot Escort Romulan Legacy Bundle [T6] for 6,000 . It is also available as part of the following: Allied Pilot Escort Mega Bundle [T6] for 12,000 .

Overview

The exotic propulsion system of Dewan ships leaves behind a peculiar impulse trail.

Pilot vessels are highly agile craft designed to perform advanced maneuvers that can give them a deadly edge in combat. By double tapping your directional movement keys your starship will perform a maneuver in that direction.

This new breed of Pilot Escort represents a unique blend of technologies from each of the primary Alliance members, with various projects and subsystems pulled from Andorian, Lethean, and Dewan techniques. The sleek styling, tight maneuverability, and impressive arsenal of offensive capabilities of existing Andorian Escorts have informed a great deal about the core functionality of all of these vessels as well.

Built alongside the Andorian Thozyn class and the Lethean Xechas class with an almost stereotypical approach to conflict, the Vandros-class Dewan Pilot Escort reflects the Andorian military heritage and philosophies of overwhelming firepower and strategic superiority, and allows for additional Tactical bridge officer seating and consoles as a result.

Exotic brushlike propulsion system on the ship's aft consists of a large number of smaller exhaust plumes.
Ikkabar class	SKIN UNLOCK: Dewan Ikkabar Pilot Escort, 3,000 A variation of the standard Dewan design, the Ikkabar class has a shorter dorsal fin and lacks lateral fins present on its sister classes. Its most distinctive feature is a force-field covered section aft of the deflector array, reminiscent of fish gills.
Vandros class	SKIN UNLOCK: Free with this starship The Vandros class features a longer dorsal fin with lateral fins of the Dynnasia class divided into six pointier ones and additional ones beneath, protruding from ship's lower hull. Engine exhaust plumes of its propulsion system are spirally oriented.

Pilot Maneuvers

Pilot ships can perform a sudden maneuver in each horizontal direction: Forward, Backward, Left or Right. Executing each maneuver will rapidly reposition your starship while granting very brief damage immunity, but costs all available thruster fuel which takes several seconds to recover.
