The Dinaes-class Warbird Destroyer is a Tier 6 Warbird Destroyer which may be flown by Romulan Republic characters, as well as characters of any other faction. All faction restrictions of this starship can be removed by having a level 65 KDF character or by purchasing the Cross Faction Flying unlock from the Zen Store. This starship can be used from any level upon completion of the tutorial experience. As you level up, this ship gains additional hull, weapon slots, and console slots.
Players can obtain this starship from any Ship and Shuttle Requisitions officer if they are a 1000-day Veteran or a lifetime subscriber.
Overview[ | ]
The Romulan Republic has been working on a special new destroyer class Warbird, designed for high-level combat situations. Due to your loyalty as a 1000-day Veteran, the Republic has granted you command of this unique new Warbird — the prototype Deaeinos-class Warbird Destroyer. Ships of this class have some similarities to Escorts, but also have many qualities of Light Cruisers and Science Vessels.
Like most Warbirds, the Daeinos class is a highly versatile and adaptable ship, with a balanced focus on firepower and survivability. It comes equipped with a prototype Dynamic Tactical System (or DTS).
After the success of the Daeinos-class prototype, the Romulan Republic shipyards have decided to make further advancements upon the experimental design of the Heavy Destroyer. The result is the Dinaes-class Heavy Destroyer.
Class variants
Class | Information |
---|---|
SKIN UNLOCK: Free The Daeinos class resembles the T'varo Light Warbird with a tapering aft, nacelles on the wingtips, and wings swept forward and up. The Daeinos differs in that it has a protruding forward "neck" and "head" section, not unlike that seen on the Mogai class. | |
SKIN UNLOCK: Free with this starship The Dinaes class remains loyal to the original "Warbird Destroyer" design with only slight changes to the shape of its wings and warp nacelles. Sharper lines of the hull, as well as shortened "head" and "tail" sections give the ship a more aggressive stance. |

- Tactical Mode (+30 Targeting System)
While in the innate Regenerative Mode, excess power is transferred to the Auxiliary System, Starship Shield Systems skill is increased and Tachyon Inversion Beam is enabled.

Specialization seating
The Dinaes-class Warbird Destroyer features the following specialist seats:
- Lieutenant Commander Engineering/Command
Battle Cloak
The Dinaes-class Warbird Destroyer has a battle cloak that allows the ship to cloak during combat, granting stealth and a damage bonus upon decloaking.
Experimental Weapon[]
The Dinaes-class Warbird Destroyer comes with an Experimental Weapon slot. This additional slot does not fit standard weapons. Unlike standard starship weapons, Experimental weapons are not affected by weapon firing modes, such as those granted by bridge officer abilities.
Singularity[]
As a Romulan Warbird, the Dinaes-class Warbird Destroyer comes with built-in Singularity abilities. These abilities do not automatically rank up when acquiring higher tier Warbirds. These powers build in severity based on the charge built up by the ship's Singularity Core.
Special features[ | ]
The Dinaes Warbird Destroyer comes with a built-in Advanced Quantum Slipstream Drive which allows improved Sector Space travel speed of 107.8 (approx Warp 23) for 60 seconds instead of normal 30 seconds. Re-initializing it takes 60 seconds instead of normal 120 seconds.
Standard configuration[ | ]
Romulan starships come with standard equipment and weapons of the lowest mark available at the ship's minimum rank. The items provided are appropriate to the type of vessel and its related playing style.
