The Dinaes Warbird Destroyer is a Tier 6 (Subadmiral) level Warbird. It is similar to an Escort, but has many qualities of Light Cruisers and Science Vessels.
Dinaes Warbird Destroyer was added in game on June 11th, 2015.
After the success of the Daeinos Heavy Destroyer prototype, the Romulan Republic shipyards have decided to make further advancements upon the experimental design of the Heavy Destroyer. The result is the Dinaes Heavy Destroyer.
The Dinaes Warbird Destroyer comes with a [Console – Universal – Enhanced Dynamic Tactical System], which allows the ship to switch between Regenerative Mode and Tactical Mode.
Variants
Dinaes Class
After the success of the Daeinos Heavy Destroyer prototype, the Romulan Republic shipyards have decided to make further advancements upon the experimental design of the Heavy Destroyer. The result is the Dinaes Heavy Destroyer.
Daeinos Class
The Daeinos' most striking trait is by far the change in appearance enabled its Enhanced Dynamic Tactical System. The console effectively turns the Daeinos into a "transformer", with three different appearances based on its mode.
In its default Regenerative Mode, the Daeinos resembles the T'varo Light Warbird with a tapering aft, nacelles on the wingtips, and wings swept forward and up. The Daeinos differs in that it has a protruding forward "neck" and "head" section, not unlike that seen on the Mogai Heavy Warbird.
When engaging Tactical Mode, hidden panels in the Daeinos' head, neck, and center hull split and protrude, revealing the glowing green Plasma Lotus Array. The nacelles articulate downwards, locking to the underside of the wings instead of on the wingtips.
When preparing for warp or traveling in Sector Space, the Daeinos extends a small "tail" from the aft, and the rear ventral impulse engines flip outward to enhance warp travel.

III | Devastating Weaponry | +2.5% Critical Chance. |
IV | Enhanced Weapon Systems | +10% Kinetic Damage. +10% All Energy Damage. |
V | Weapon System Synergy | Each time a directed energy weapon is activated on your ship, you will shunt a small amount of power to your projectile emitters. This is represented by building up stacks of Weapon System Synergy. Upon reaching 10 stacks, your projectile weapons will become primed and deal additional damage and shield bleedthrough for several seconds. After this expires there is a short lockout window before you can begin building up Weapon System Synergy stacks again. |
Abilities
Battle Cloak
The Dinaes Warbird Destroyer has a battle cloak that allows the ship to cloak during combat, granting stealth and a damage bonus upon decloaking.
Singularity
As a Romulan Warbird, the Dinaes Warbird Destroyer comes with built-in Singularity abilities. These abilities do not automatically rank up when acquiring higher tier Warbirds. These powers build in severity based on the charge built up by the ship's Singularity Core.
When equipped with a Enhanced Dynamic Tactical System in any console slot, the Dinaes Warbird Destroyer is capable of switching between Regenerative Mode and Tactical Mode. It also allows 2 new abilities, depending on if the ship is in Regenerative Mode or Tactical Mode.
- Regenerative Mode (+30 Shield Systems)
- Tactical Mode (+30 Targeting System)
Standard Configuration
Romulan starships come with standard equipment and weapons of the lowest mark available at the ship's minimum rank. The items provided are appropriate to the type of vessel and its related playing style.

Equipment slots and seating
As you rank up every 10 levels, up to level 40, the ship's forward weapon slots, aft weapon slots, tactical console slots, engineering console slots, science console slots and available bridge officer (boff) abilities will slowly increase toward endgame capabilities:

Hull strength
This table shows how the ship's hull strength scales at each level. The base hull of all scaling starships is 10,000, which is then multiplied by the ship's hull modifier (Expression error: Unexpected ( operator. for the Dinaes Warbird Destroyer), and then multiplied by the scaling multiplier below at each level.
