Disruptor Dual Sniper Rifles is a ground weapon that deals Disruptor Damage. It is obtainable for Klingon-aligned characters from the Fleet Starbase for 5000 (depending on fleet discounts). They can be found listed under Dual Pistols rather than rifles.

Overview

While lesser races would tell you that you need two hands for one rifle, a true Klingon warrior can do far better than that. For such a Warrior, look no farther than the Dual Sniper Rifles.

Sweep Sniper Rifles have a secondary fire mode that shoots a net of bolts that damage several enemies in front of you. Disruptor ground weapons have a chance to reduce the target's damage resistance. Elite Fleet Disruptor weapons represent the latest in KDF technology. This weapon has a chance to disintegrate targets that are low on health.

Note: Due to issues attempting to stabilize Sniper Rifles in a single hand, these weapons will behave much more like Dual Pistols than Sniper Rifles.

Notes

• The rifles were originally Dual Pistols but developed a graphic bug that replaced the pistols with Sniper Rifles. As this was seen as amusing and popular, Cryptic amended the text instead of resolving the bug to make them Dual Sniper Rifles, while also implementing proper Elite Dual Pistol variants.
