Overview[]
True to its purpose, a large number of vessels registered with Starfleet are peaceful ships – freighters moving around trade, medical vessels providing aid, exploration vessels seeking out new life, science vessels unraveling the mysteries of the universe.
However, there is no peace, no exploration, no trade, no freedom to be found at the bottom of a boot, and as such, the Earhart-class Strike Wing Escort is not one of those vessels. As a Strike Wing Escort, its function is to neutralize threats, so that Starfleet’s peaceful vessels can do their jobs unimpeded and in relative safety. It comes with a compliment of Class-C shuttlecraft to aid in its mission, and features new technology, such as the Subatomic Field Disruptor and Cascading Gravimetric Disruptions console, to ensure it’s capable of optimal multi-threat responses.
