+6 Flight Turn rate
+3.8 Weapon Power Setting
+3.8 Shield Power Setting
- +69 Flight Speed
- Diverts all power to engines
This Efficient Impulse Engines used to have +5 to Weapons, Shields, and Auxiliary. Many players previously used these engines all the way to Admiral level, due to turn rate and additional power to non-engine power; however, changes to these were made so that they now have a variable power increase inversely proportional to your power setting (similar to increased efficiency for weapon, shield, and auxiliary systems).
Item Description
These utility engines drain less power than standard engines, which effectively increases the power levels of all other ship systems.
Acquisition
Players can acquire this engine only as a reward from the “Past Imperfect” (Federation) or “Second Star to the Right, Straight on 'til Morning” (Klingon).
