Commander Eldex is a member of the Vaadwaur Supremacy. He is dedicated to the future of his people no matter the cost.

Missions involved

• “The Dragon's Deceit”: The player encounters Commander Eldex while infiltrating a Vaadwaur base on Kartella Prime. Eldex is about to execute the player for killing Commander Galik, but spares the player and sides with them when the neural parasites are revealed to be infesting Galik and the rest of the Vaadwaur leadership.
• “Revolution”: Eldex enlists the player's aid in enacting a plan to expose the corruption of the Vaadwaur leadership. When the trap is sprung, part of the Vaadwaur rebel against Gaul and side with Eldex.
• “Takedown”: Eldex and the Vaadwaur loyal to him arrive to aid the Delta Alliance in the battle for the Vaadwaur homeworld. Following the battle, it is discovered that Gaul in fact did not have a neural parasite; Eldex demands that this information remain secret, and vaporizes Gaul's body to destroy the evidence.
• “Dust to Dust”: Captain Kim informs the player that Eldex is leading the remaining Vaadwaur forces in the wake of Gaul's death, and that he has not been cooperative with the Delta Alliance; however, there is no sign that the neural parasites are influencing the remaining Vaadwaur.

Notes

• Eldex's status following the outbreak of the Iconian War is unknown. At least one Vaadwaur ship remains in the service of the Iconians as seen in “Time in a Bottle”, suggesting that the Bluegill still control some ships and officers.
