To say that this vessel was designed is likely an overstatement, and it is more likely a cobbled-together collection of various ships, ship parts, and technologies from any culture unfortunate to find itself under the lash of the Emerald Chain. The gargantuan size of the vessel is clearly intended to intimidate others, as are its many obvious weapon mounts. Although primarily designed to subdue and conquer, this vessel is also no stranger to subterfuge, as sometimes a lighter touch is necessary to undermine your enemies' capabilities, regardless of how much firepower you bring to bear.
|I||Devastating Weaponry||+2.5% Critical Chance.|
|II||Enhanced Weapon Banks||+15% Critical Severity.|
|III||Rapid Repairs||Regenerates 1.25% of your maximum hull every 3 seconds in Space. Twice the amount is regenerated out of combat.|
|IV||Enhanced Weapon Systems||+10% Kinetic Damage.|
+10% All Energy Damage.
|V||Lash Of The Chain||Periodically negate shared Cooldown for Cannon Firing Modes|
The first Cannon Firing Mode used negates the shared 15 second recharge time for Cannon Firing Modes (45s recharge)
The Emerald Chain Intel Juggernaut comes equipped with the [Console - Universal - Programmable Matter Projectors].
The Emerald Chain Intel Juggernaut comes with a built-in Viridian Juggernaut Array. After a short charge up time, this built-in weapon fires a massive blast of Plasma Energy directly in front of your starship, disabling and massively damaging anything that survives contact.
The Emerald Chain Intel Juggernaut has a battle cloak that allows the ship to cloak during combat, granting stealth and a damage bonus upon decloaking. It has a unique 32nd century cloaking effect as seen in Season 3 of Star Trek: Discovery.
Active Sensor Arrays
As an Intelligence starship, the Emerald Chain Intel Juggernaut is capable of deploying an Intel sensor drone with the Gather Intelligence ability.
While the target is Vulnerable, one of three Expose Vulnerability abilities can be used. These powerful abilities find a critical weakness in the targeted foe and allow players to briefly exploit it.
- Expose Vulnerability: Critical Systems
- Expose Vulnerability: Defenses
- Expose Vulnerability: Weapon Systems
Intelligence vessels also have a built-in passive ability which renders them undetectable at long range.
The Emerald Chain Intel Juggernaut features the following specialist seats:
Starships come with standard equipment and weapons of the lowest mark available at the ship's minimum rank. The items provided are appropriate to the type of vessel and its related playing style.
This starship's equipment slots, base hull capacity and shield capacity scale as your level increases.
Equipment slots and seating
As you rank up every 10 levels, up to level 40, the ship's forward weapon slots, aft weapon slots, tactical console slots, engineering console slots, science console slots and available bridge officer (boff) abilities will slowly increase toward endgame capabilities:
This table shows how the ship's hull strength scales at each level. The base hull of all scaling starships is 10,000, which is then multiplied by the ship's hull modifier (1.65 for the Emerald Chain Intel Juggernaut), and then multiplied by the scaling multiplier below at each level.

By using an [Experimental Ship Upgrade Token], the Emerald Chain Intel Juggernaut may be upgraded to T6-X, unlocking an extra ship device slot, universal console slot, and the ability to slot an extra starship trait.

- In addition to necessitating a model re-scale (the STO version is much smaller than the “canon ship” reference as seen on screen), special technology was developed for this ship that allows the many cannon emplacements lining the Emerald Chain Intel Juggernaut's hull to track the player's primary target. There are 45 moveable turrets on this vessel. Without a primary target, or under the effect of various weapon firing modes, these turrets will also track their own targets in addition to the player's primary target.
