An Ensign Security Officer (colloquially Redshirt) is the lowest ranking security officer of the United Federation of Planets ground forces. Ensign Security Officers come from different races and wear a variety of uniforms. They can spawn as Federation Ensign-rank mobs along with the Ensign Engineering Officer and the Ensign Medic.
