Equal and Opposite was a Special Event tied to the release of Season Twenty-four: Reflections. From September 14th, 2021 to October 14th, 2021 (PC) and November 9th, 2021 to December 9th, 2021 (Console), players who participated had a chance to earn the Mirror Gagarin Warship by playing through new and themed content.
Another universe lurks just alongside ours, on the other end of the mirror. From the moment of first contact, the two have pushed against each other, equal and opposite. Friction looms as Leeta's machinations grind to a halt in the new mission Firewall, and the new TFO Operation: Wolf is a training exercise designed by Leeta herself, practicing an assault on the Terran Empire's orbital Terran Space Defense Fortress to capture key intelligence. In addition to the new mission and TFOs, the mission Jabberwocky and the TFO Counterpoint make a sudden but inevitable return.

To receive the reward, players had to earn 20 
(Appointment Progress) with up to 1 every 20 hours by completing the following content:

Rewards[]
Accruing a total of 20 Appointment Progress allowed players to claim the grand prize of the "Equal and Opposite" Event. This reward included all of the following:

[Agony Phaser Weapon Pack] (once per account) - 3x
[Ultimate Tech Upgrade - Beam/Cannon/Projectile Tech] (once per account)
After earning the grand prize, players were able to continue participating in the event for additional Dilithium Ore. See Daily Bonus Progress for more details.
Zen Buyout[]
For those who were unable to play regularly or wanted the grand prize instantly, a reward buyout option was added to Zen Store for 6,000 
. The price scaled with the event progress, with every earned progress point adding a small reduction to the base price.
