- You may be looking for the playable version of the Federation Science Vessel.
The Federation Science Vessel is a Starfleet vessel. Science vessels are not as hard-hitting as escorts or cruisers, but perform excellently in a support role. They have the strongest shields of any cruiser-level ship.
The appearance of the Federation Science Vessel depends on its level, though its armament and abilities remain the same.

Special Variants[]
With the release of Season Six: Under Siege, three new Federation Science Vessel variants have been introduced. They have mostly the same weapons and abilities, plus one or more special abilities.
- Rhode Island-class Science Vessel (equipped with Photonic Displacement)
- Nebula-class Science Vessel (equipped with Tachyon Detection Grid)
- Intrepid-class Science Vessel (equipped with Ablative Generator)
Season Eight: The Sphere introduced the Multi-Mission Explorer, which - despite sharing some abilities with the standard science vessel - is a battleship-level mob.
Notes[]
- When the player uses the Fleet Support ability, a Federation Science Vessel is one of the ships that may arrive to assist them.
- ↑ This is the "standard" Intrepid class. The "advanced" version equipped with Ablative Generators is a class of its own.
