The Fleet Daeinos-class Warbird Destroyer is a Tier 5 (Level 50) Warbird Destroyer which may be flown by Romulan Republic characters. All faction restrictions of this starship can be removed by having a level 65 KDF character or by purchasing the Cross Faction Flying unlock from the Zen Store.
Players can obtain this starship from any Ship and Shuttle Requisitions officer if they are a 1000-day Veteran or a lifetime subscriber for 20,000 and 1 , so long as the player's Fleet has a Tier II Spire and one Starbase Military Fleet Ship Provision.
Overview[]
The Romulan Republic has been working on a special new destroyer class Warbird, designed for high-level combat situations. Due to your loyalty as a 1000-day Veteran, the Republic has granted you command of this unique new Warbird — the prototype Deaeinos-class Warbird Destroyer. Ships of this class have some similarities to Escorts, but also have many qualities of Light Cruisers and Science Vessels.
Like most Warbirds, the Daeinos class is a highly versatile and adaptable ship, with a balanced focus on firepower and survivability. It comes equipped with a prototype Dynamic Tactical System (or DTS).
The Daeinos's most striking trait is by far the change in appearance enabled its Dynamic Tactical System. The console effectively turns the Daeinos into a "transformer", with three different appearances based on its mode.
When engaging Tactical Mode, hidden panels in the Daeinos' head, neck, and center hull split and protrude, revealing the glowing green Plasma Lotus Array. The nacelles articulate downwards, locking to the underside of the wings instead of on the wingtips.
When preparing for warp or traveling in Sector Space, the Daeinos extends a small "tail" from the aft, and the rear ventral impulse engines flip outward to enhance warp travel.
Federation and Klingon Empire Fleets, which Republic officers are part of, have made further upgrades to the Daeinos class. These Fleet Starships are built to the highest standard and have increased Hull Hit Points, Shield Strength and an additional Engineering Console slot.
Class variants
Class | Information |
---|---|
SKIN UNLOCK: Free The Daeinos class resembles the T'varo Light Warbird with a tapering aft, nacelles on the wingtips, and wings swept forward and up. The Daeinos differs in that it has a protruding forward "neck" and "head" section, not unlike that seen on the Mogai class. | |
SKIN UNLOCK: Dinaes Warbird Destroyer, 1,000 The Dinaes class remains loyal to the original "Warbird Destroyer" design with only slight changes to the shape of its wings and warp nacelles. Sharper lines of the hull, as well as shortened "head" and "tail" sections give the ship a more aggressive stance. |

Abilities[]
Universal consoles[]
The Fleet Daeinos Warbird Destroyer doesn't come equipped with any universal consoles.
However, it can equip the [Console - Universal - Dynamic Tactical System] obtainable with the Daeinos Warbird Destroyer (T5) which allows the player to switch the Destroyer between Regenerative Mode and Tactical Mode.
- Regenerative Mode (+30 Shield Systems)
- Tactical Mode (+30 Targeting System)
While in the innate Regenerative Mode, excess power is transferred to the Auxiliary System, Starship Shield Systems skill is increased and Tachyon Inversion Beam is enabled.
Activating Tactical Mode transfers power to Weapon Systems, increases ship's Starship Targeting Systems skill granting an Accuracy bonus and enables a powerful multi-targeting Lotus capable of piercing multiple targets.
Battle Cloak
The Fleet Daeinos-class Warbird Destroyer has a battle cloak that allows the ship to cloak during combat, granting stealth and a damage bonus upon decloaking.
Experimental Weapon[]
The Fleet Daeinos-class Warbird Destroyer comes with an Experimental Weapon slot. This additional slot does not fit standard weapons. Unlike standard starship weapons, Experimental weapons are not affected by weapon firing modes, such as those granted by bridge officer abilities.
Singularity[]
As a Romulan Warbird, the Fleet Daeinos-class Warbird Destroyer comes with built-in Singularity abilities. These abilities do not automatically rank up when acquiring higher tier Warbirds. These powers build in severity based on the charge built up by the ship's Singularity Core.
Special features[]
The Fleet Daeinos Warbird Destroyer comes with a built-in Advanced Quantum Slipstream Drive which allows improved Sector Space travel speed of 107.8 (approx Warp 23) for 60 seconds instead of normal 30 seconds. Re-initializing it takes 60 seconds instead of normal 120 seconds.
Standard configuration[]
Romulan starships come with standard equipment and weapons of the lowest mark available at the ship's minimum rank. The items provided are appropriate to the type of vessel and its related playing style.
