Release date: October 8, 2015
The Fleet Ha'apax-class Advanced Warbird (T6) is a Tier 6 Warbird Battlecruiser / Dreadnought Warbird hybrid which may be flown by Romulan Republic characters, as well as characters of any other faction. All faction restrictions of this starship can be removed by having a level 65 KDF character or by purchasing the Cross Faction Flying unlock from the Zen Store. This starship can be used from any level upon completion of the tutorial experience. As you level up, this ship gains additional hull, weapon slots, and console slots.
Players can obtain this starship from any Ship and Shuttle Requisitions officer for 20,000 and 5 , so long as the player's Fleet has a Tier V Shipyard and one Starbase Military Fleet Ship Provision. If the player already owns the Kara Advanced Warbird from the Zen Store, the Fleet Ship Module cost is reduced to 1.
Overview[ | ]
The Ha'apax-class Advanced Warbird represents the latest developments in Romulan technology. Larger than even the mighty D'deridex-class Warbird, it has superior firepower and even greater hull strength. While slow to maneuver, a Ha'apax-class starship is a juggernaut on the battlefield, capable of withstanding tremendous damage while unleashing its weapons on its foes.
The Kara-class Advanced Warbird represents the latest developments in Romulan technology. Larger than even the mighty D'deridex class, the Kara class has superior firepower and even greater hull strength. While slow to maneuver, it is a juggernaut on the battlefield, capable of withstanding tremendous damage while unleashing weapons on her foes. With a devastating built-in Plasma Spinal Lance, the Kara-class is a very formidable opponent.
Federation and Klingon Empire Fleets, which Republic officers are part of, have made further upgrades to the Kara-class Advanced Warbirds. These Fleet Starships are built to the highest standard and have increased Hull Hit Points, Shield Strength and an additional Engineering Console slot. Tier 6 Fleet ships do not have a 5th Starship Mastery level and thus do not unlock a Starship Trait.
Class variants
Class | Information |
---|---|
SKIN UNLOCK: Free When compared to the older Romulan warbirds, the Ha'apax class has a much bulkier main hull with no internal space like the D'deridex class. The enormous wings arch downwards (reminiscent of the Dhelan class) to meet with the secondary wings, and the "head" looks to be patterned somewhat after a Bird-of-Prey such as an eagle. Indeed, when viewed from directly above or below, it becomes obvious that the ship's shape and design are strongly reminiscent of a Bird-of-Prey in flight. Players can choose between two different types (Type 1 and Type 2) of Ha'apax class "hull" and "nacelle" designs. | |
SKIN UNLOCK: Free The Ha'apax class parts are interchangeable with parts from the Ha'feh and the Ha'nom. Selecting these parts will turn the ship's Assault command section into a Ha'feh-class vessel and Guardian command section into a Ha'nom. | |
SKIN UNLOCK: Haakona Advanced Warbird, 2,500 When compared to the Ha'apax, the Haakona class has a more ridged and segmented overall design. The ship's primary wings sweep upwards, while the wings of the Assault Warbird component sweep downwards, giving it a look of an eagle with its talons outstretched. | |
SKIN UNLOCK: Kara Advanced Warbird, 3,000 Based on previous Advanced Warbird designs, the Kara class shares a lot of similarities with Haakona-class Warbird. The most notable difference is the lance emitter on the front section of the ship. Unlike its predecessor, it also features a hangar bay. |

Abilities[ | ]
Universal consoles[ | ]
The Fleet Ha'apax Advanced Warbird (T6) doesn't come equipped with any universal consoles.
However, it can equip [Console - Universal - Dual Vector Separation] and [Console - Universal - Supplemental Subsystems] which form the Romulan Maneuvering Protocol Set. These consoles are obtainable with Haakona Advanced Warbird (T5) and Kara Advanced Warbird (T6), but can also be equipped on the Fleet Ha'apax Advanced Warbird (T6). For each console added after the first, an additional passive bonus is unlocked.
Specialization seating
The Fleet Ha'apax-class Advanced Warbird (T6) features the following specialist seats:
- Lieutenant Commander Universal/Command
Battle Cloak
The Fleet Ha'apax-class Advanced Warbird (T6) has a battle cloak that allows the ship to cloak during combat, granting stealth and a damage bonus upon decloaking.
Hangar Bay[ | ]
The Fleet Ha'apax Advanced Warbird (T6) comes equipped with a single wing of Scorpion Fighters.
These light craft are equipped with fore Plasma Pulse Cannons and Plasma Torpedo Launcher.
The Elite variant of the Scorpion Fighter is obtainable from the New Romulus reputation system.
Carrier commands[]
- Carrier Command - Attack
- Carrier Command - Escort
- Carrier Command - Intercept
- Carrier Command - Recall
Singularity[]
As a Romulan Warbird, the Fleet Ha'apax-class Advanced Warbird (T6) comes with built-in Singularity abilities. These abilities do not automatically rank up when acquiring higher tier Warbirds. These powers build in severity based on the charge built up by the ship's Singularity Core.
Special features[ | ]
The Fleet Ha'apax Advanced Warbird (T6) comes with a built-in Plasma Spinal Lance.
This devastating weapon fires a single, powerful plasma beam at a target. It has a narrow firing arc, but when applied properly, it can deal large amount of damage. When the ship separates using the Dual Vector Separation from the Haakona Advanced Warbird, the lance switches into wide beam mode, damaging multiple targets in a cone area, albeit dealing them less damage.
Standard configuration[ | ]
Romulan starships come with standard equipment and weapons of the lowest mark available at the ship's minimum rank. The items provided are appropriate to the type of vessel and its related playing style.
