The Fleet Naj'sov-class Research Vessel is a Tier 6 Science Vessel which may be flown by Klingon Defense Force characters, including Klingon Empire-aligned Romulan Republic and Dominion characters. All faction restrictions of this starship can be removed by having a level 65 KDF character or by purchasing the Cross Faction Flying unlock from the Zen Store. This starship can be used from any level upon completion of the tutorial experience. As you level up, this ship gains additional hull, weapon slots, and console slots.

Players can obtain this starship from any Ship and Shuttle Requisitions officer for 20,000  and 5 , so long as the player's Fleet has a Tier III Shipyard and one Starbase Military Fleet Ship Provision. If the player already owns the Naj'sov Research Vessel from the Zen Store, the Fleet Ship Module cost is reduced to 1.

Overview

The latest science vessel from the Klingon Empire is the powerful Naj'sov-class Research Vessel. Designed for durability, it utilizes a suite of new tachyon-based tech, including the experimental tachyon particle field emitter technology.

Klingon Empire Fleets have made further upgrades to the Naj'sov-class Research Vessel. These Fleet Starships are built to the highest standard and have increased Hull Hit Points, Shield Strength and an additional Engineering Console slot.

Naj'sov class

SKIN UNLOCK: Free Not counting the Klingon Temporal Science Vessels, the Naj'sov class is the only Support Vessel of Klingon design. The ship is very similar in overall shape to Vorcha-class Klingon battle cruisers, but additional details such as triangular mission pod, large deflector dish beneath the command section, as well as visible secondary deflector reveal its role as that of a science vessel.

Sensor Analysis

Sensor Analysis is an active toggle ability. While maintaining a Sensor Lock on a target, the player gains a stacking effect that either improves the damage and power drain against an enemy, or improves any heal directed towards an ally. This effect stacks every 3 seconds, to a maximum of 6 stacks after 18 continuous seconds. To maintain the desired effect, the player must hold the sensor lock.

Subsystem Targeting

The Fleet Naj'sov-class Research Vessel comes with built-in Subsystem Targeting abilities. These built-in abilities stay at Rank I and do not automatically rank up when acquiring higher tier Science starships. They are separate from Subsystem Targeting abilities gained through Tactical Space Bridge officer abilities.

Activating a subsystem targeting ability will upgrade all energy weapons to inflict a stacking power drain on the foe's targeted subsystem for the next 10 seconds. They will also have a small chance to knock the targeted subsystem offline for a short duration.

T6-X upgrade

By using an [Experimental Ship Upgrade Token], the Fleet Naj'sov-class Research Vessel may be upgraded to T6-X, unlocking an extra ship device slot, universal console slot, and the ability to slot an extra starship trait.

Note that upgrading the Naj'sov Research Vessel, the standard non-fleet version of the Fleet Naj'sov Research Vessel, will not apply the upgrade to this starship.
