Overview[ | ]
The Negh'Var-class Heavy Battlecruiser is the Klingon Defense Force's most powerful battlecruiser, and the flagship of the Klingon Empire since the Dominion War and well into the 25th century.
Following the success of new ships developed for Operation: Delta Rising, engineering teams at the Ty'Gokor Shipyards began work on updating core designs in the Empire's fleet.
The Negh'Tev-class Heavy Battlecruiser is the first ship from this effort to be released to Klingon Defense Force captains. An update of the famed Negh'Var class that anchored the Empire's fleets during the Dominion War the Neg'Tev class incorporates updated technology developed to give this ship improved capabilities for the difficult challenger the Empire faces in the months ahead.
Klingon Empire Fleets have made further upgrades to the Negh'Tev-class Heavy Battlecruisers. These Fleet Starships are built to the highest standard and have increased Hull Hit Points, Shield Strength and an additional Engineering Console slot.
Class variants
Class | Information |
---|---|
SKIN UNLOCK: Free First encountered by the Federation in 2372 during a skirmish near Deep Space 9, the Negh'Var-class Battlecruiser is an imposing vessel with broad, fixed wings carrying twin warp nacelles. Similar to the Vor'cha class, the Negh'Var has a large forked forward section and weapons array. Two different "pylon" section variants are available: standard and Beta. The Negh'Var Beta variant lacks the large weapon pods on the ship's underside. | |
SKIN UNLOCK: Free The Qu'Daj class is a variant of the Negh'Var class. Both have a similar layout. However, the Qu'daj has a slightly smaller wingspan and much more heavily armored sections. It also sports a larger hull neck and a saucer section that looks similar to the head of a hammerhead shark. | |
SKIN UNLOCK: Free A variant of the Negh'Var first seen in an alternate timeline in the TNG finale "All Good Things...", the voDleh class features bow fins and nacelle spikes, a shorter bridge area and a longer frontal antenna. The window arrangement on the central hull also differs from the Negh'Var, as do some small details on the nacelles. Two different "pylon" section variants are available: standard and Beta. The voDleh Beta variant adds the Negh'Var's signature weapon pods, as seen in another alternate timeline in the Voyager finale "Endgame". Not to be confused with the VoD'leh-class Carrier. | |
SKIN UNLOCK: Negh'Tev Heavy Battlecruiser, 3,000 An update of the fearsome Negh'Var class, the Negh'Tev class incorporates technology first utilized on the Qib and Mat'Ha classes to give this ship improved capabilities for the difficult challenges the Empire will face in the Delta Quadrant. Despite having "Negh'Tev" in its name, the Fleet Negh'Tev Heavy Battlecruiser does not unlock the Negh'Tev-class customization parts. |

- The playable Negh'Var variants as well as her NPC counterpart were remodeled with the release of the Negh'Tev Heavy Battlecruiser to more closely resemble their canon appearance in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Players can also choose to use Voodieh (named "voDleh" in Star Trek Online) costume parts to match the ship's appearance from the TNG finale episode "All Good Things...".
