The Fleet Qin-class Flight Deck Raptor is a Tier 6 Flight Deck Raptor which may be flown by Klingon Defense Force characters, including Klingon Empire-aligned Romulan Republic and Dominion characters. All faction restrictions of this starship can be removed by having a level 65 KDF character or by purchasing the Cross Faction Flying unlock from the Zen Store. This starship can be used from any level upon completion of the tutorial experience. As you level up, this ship gains additional hull, weapon slots, and console slots.

Players can obtain this starship from any Ship and Shuttle Requisitions officer for 20,000  and 5 , so long as the player's Fleet has a Tier V Shipyard and one Starbase Military Fleet Ship Provision. If the player already owns the Qa'Tel Flight Deck Raptor from the Zen Store, the Fleet Ship Module cost is reduced to 1.

Overview

The Qa'Tel-class Flight Deck Raptor is the largest ship of its kind in the Klingon Fleet.

It is durable, maneuverable can deploy a wing of fighters. This innovative design was inspired by Starfleet's Heavy Escort Carriers and the Romulan Republic's Tactical Carrier Warbirds. It was designed from the ground up to battle the Iconian threat.

Klingon Empire Fleets have made further upgrades to the Qa'Tel-class Flight Deck Raptors. These Fleet Starships are built to the highest standard and have increased Hull Hit Points, Shield Strength and an additional Science Console slot.

Birok class	SKIN UNLOCK: Free The Birok-class Raptor is considerably bulkier than the Qin-class model, and shows clear design influences from Gorn and Orion sources: for example, ship's nacelles (especially the secondary ones) are highly reminiscent of standard Gorn nacelles.
Qin class	SKIN UNLOCK: Free The Qin class lacks red nacelles, has considerably smaller wings and the much smaller neck stem due to the enlarged forward hull. Overall structure is vaguely reminiscent of early Andorian Kumari Escorts due to the design of the wings, as well as the forward hull being dwarfed by the forward command module.
Qa'Tel class	SKIN UNLOCK: Qa'Tel Flight Deck Raptor, 3,000 Inspired by Starfleet's Armitage class and the Republic's Ar'kif class, the Qa'Tel class, unlike its Qin-class predecessor, is capable of deploying a wing of fighters. Larger than the Qin, the Qa'Tel sports a bulked up version of the Birok's "head" section, thicker "neck" with additional windows and large red nacelles.

The Fleet Qin-class Flight Deck Raptor comes with an Experimental Weapon slot. This additional slot does not fit standard weapons. Unlike standard starship weapons, Experimental weapons are not affected by weapon firing modes, such as those granted by bridge officer abilities.

T6-X upgrade

By using an [Experimental Ship Upgrade Token], the Fleet Qin-class Flight Deck Raptor may be upgraded to T6-X, unlocking an extra ship device slot, universal console slot, and the ability to slot an extra starship trait.

Note that upgrading the Qa'Tel Flight Deck Raptor, the standard non-fleet version of the Fleet Qin Flight Deck Raptor, will not apply the upgrade to this starship.
