A Blackguard-class Flight Deck Assault Carrier

Flight Deck Carriers are a type of playable starship. They combine the heavy weaponry and durability of Cruisers with the two hangar bays found on standard Carriers. Originally medium-sized warships of Orion design, more designs from other races followed. Flight Deck Carriers have strong hulls and average shields, a typical design element also seen on Cruisers, but lack the Subsystem Targeting abilities found on standard Carriers.

All Tier 5 and Tier 6 Flight Deck Carriers and Flight Deck Assault Cruisers possess the following attributes:

Orion Flight Deck Carriers

These Orion-designed starships may be flown by Klingon Defense Force captains and their allies. All Orion Flight Deck Carriers to date have +5 to all power levels.

Dacoit class

Dacoit class

The Orion Dacoit-class Flight Deck Carrier is a hybrid cruiser/light carrier. It has two hangar bays that can equip various small ships and drones. The Dacoit comes equipped with [Hangar - Orion Interceptors] which can be launched from the hangar bays. Interceptors have disruptor pulse cannons, and can drain weapon and engine power from your target.

The Orion Corsair comes equipped with [Hangar - Tachyon Drones] which can be launched from the hangar bay. The Tachyon Drones advance on a target and fire a Tachyon Beam to drain its shields.

The Corsair class Flight Deck Carrier Retrofit is of Orion design, borrowing design elements from vessels such as the Brigand Cruiser. Orion Flight-Deck Cruisers are Cruiser/Carrier hybrids that allows the versatility of a powerful cruiser while carrying extra man power for fighter deployment. The retrofit is of similar system design to the Marauder class, but is slightly more maneuverable due to being smaller.

The Fleet variant exchanges the Ensign Science and Lt. Commander Engineering with each other, turning them into Ensign Engineering and Lt. Commander Science Bridge Officer stations. In addition, the Fleet version gains an additional Science console slot and better overall Hull and Shield strength.

Marauder class

Marauder class

The Marauder-class Flight Deck Carrier is of Orion Syndicate design, which was absorbed into the Klingon Defense Force. The Marauder comes equipped with Hangar - Marauding Force assault shuttles which can be launched from its two hangar bays. The assault shuttles board and disable enemy ships.

Tellarite Pralim Flight-Deck Assault Cruiser

Pralim class

A modern-day replica of their early space-faring vessels, this updated design reflects the latest advances in Federation technology in combination with traditional Tellarite engineering ingenuity. The offensive capabilities of this stubborn and hard-hitting design are at-home on the front lines of any conflict.

Suliban Silik Flight-Deck Assault Cruiser

Silik class

A modern-day replica of their early space-faring vessels, this updated design reflects the latest advances in Romulan Republic technology in combination with traditional Suliban engineering ingenuity. The offensive capabilities of this stubborn and hard-hitting design are at-home on the front lines of any conflict. Unlike other Flight-Deck Assault Cruisers, this vessel is equipped with a Battle Cloak, but has slightly less Hull Capacity.

Bastion class

Rampart class

With the recent conflict against the Voth at the Dyson Sphere, a number of their ships have been captured, studied and utilised by the Joint-Allied Task Force stationed at the Sphere and beyond. The Voth Bastion-class Flight Deck Carrier is a well-armed and well-armored Cruiser capable of taking and delivering a harsh amount of punishment.
