A Bajoran vessel has engaged True Way raiders who stole an Orb of the Prophets from the Bajoran capital. The wherabouts of the S.S. Ratosha are currently unknown.
Synopsis
"A woman's past may hold the keys to her future."
A Bajoran vessel has engaged True Way raiders who have stolen an Orb of the Prophets from the Bajoran capital. The whereabouts of the civilian ship are unknown, at first. Investigations lead to the badly damaged ship in the Toron System and it seems that the mission's completion is only a question of how fast the Ratosha's systems can be brought back online. Matters worsen, however, as more True Way squadrons show up and attack, bound to reclaim the mysterious Orb.
The situation turns dark when a Vedek aboard the ships is killed and the Ratosha's senior officers perish as the ship looses warp core containment. As the Ratosha is destroyed, the Bajoran Orb reacts and it seems, that the mysteries of the present can only be solved by investigating a single woman's past and her involvement in the events of one of Bajor's darkest hours.

Mission text
An Orb of the Prophets was stolen during a recent True Way raid on the Bajoran capital. Starfleet Command wants you to investigate the whereabouts of a Bajoran ship that apparently engaged the True Way raiders responsible for the theft.
Head to the Toron System in the Beta Ursae Sector Block to search for the S.S. Ratosha.

Notes
- The mission is the first part in a planned trilogy (part 2 currently work in progress)
- "Shadows of the Past" evokes events that were seen and talked about in "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine", mostly regarding Terok Nor and the Cardassian Occupation of Bajor
- The mission focuses on story and dialog, with mild ground and space combat
- A major overhaul is planned, once Bajoran assets become available in the Foundry (e.g. Orbs, Bajoran Militia uniforms, Vedek robes,...)
