The Gekli Companion is a non-combat pet that was made available in the Zen Store on October 28, 2011. The purchase cost is 300 .

Ever wanted to have a little "Junior" following your ship happily munching on spare power from your ship‘s fusion generators? Now you can! This infant Gekli will accompany you from Risa to Fluidic Space and explore the galaxy by your side.

The Gekli Pet is a summonable. non-combat space pet. It does not use a device slot. but must be in your inventory to be summoned.

Note: Purchase of this option is a single item unlock. If you discard, sell, trade, or auction a Gekli Pet you WILL NOT be able to claim a free replacement from the Zen Store. Once the item is unpacked from your inventory it will be bound to you.

Unlike the Danube Runabout or Type-8 Starfleet Shuttlecraft companions, the Gekli Companion can be launched from small player-controlled craft such as a Runabout or Captain's Yacht.
