The Hirogen Heuristics Space Set consists of two consoles:
Enhanced Inertial Damper Field is equippable on any Hirogen starhips, Raiders, Raptors, Escorts and Pilot Vessel, while Photonic Decoy Swarm is only equippable on the Hirogen Hunter Heavy Escort and the Hirogen Apex Heavy Battlecruiser. They can be put into any console slot.
Console - Universal - Enhanced Inertial Damper Field[ | ]
- Initiate a Sudden Reversal of Direction
- +100 Defense Rating for 2 sec
- Weapons and Auxiliary Offline for 2 sec
- After 2 seconds: +10% Bonus Damage for 8 sec, +10 Defense Rating for 8 sec

Enhanced Inertial Damper Field
The Console - Universal - Enhanced Inertial Damper Field is obtained from the Hirogen Hunter Heavy Escort (Hirogen Lock Box, Cross-Faction Tier 5).

Hirogen vessels sometimes use enhanced inertial dampers to perform maneuvers that would otherwise be too taxing on a starship's systems. They require a large amount of weapon power though, and therefore cannot be constantly active. Performing a sudden maneuver can give a Hirogen vessel tactical advantages, suddenly turning the tables on pursuing foes and potential targets.
Console - Universal - Photonic Decoy Swarm[ | ]
- Launches four level __ Decoy Drones for 30 sec.
- * Each drone summons a Photonic Decoy that will fire upon all nearby foes.
- * While at least one Drone is active within 5km, the user and all Decoys have a chance to become briefly untargetable every 2 seconds
- * After 30sec, or upon destruction, each Drone explodes in a 2km radius dealing ____ Kinetic Damage.

The Console - Universal - Photonic Decoy Swarm is obtained from the Hirogen Apex Heavy Battlecruiser (Lobi Crystal Consortium, 800 
, Cross-Faction Tier 5).

Hirogen Vessels are able to baffle enemy sensors by creating a series of Photonic Decoys which create "ghost" energy and hull signatures almost identical to the vessel that deploys them. By launching several of these Decoys at a time, the effects are enough to frustrate most enemies into letting their guard down, allowing the attacking Hirogen to gain tactical advanatage in any conflict.
