The Jem'Hadar Armor is a Energy Dampening Body Armor that provides a good protection from energy-based and kinetic attacks, but it does not provide any protection against Physical Damage.

Jem'Hadar Personal Shield
Personal Shields protect you by absorbing most of the damage from energy-based attacks and a portion of the damage from physical attacks. Shields rapidly regenerate once they have not sustained damage for a brief period of time.

- Prior to introduction of the Gear Upgrade System, these items could be upgraded to Mk XII through the Lobi store item Jem'Hadar Ground Set - Shrouded Nanofibers for 150 , gaining improved base stats. These items can now be upgraded to their improved stats by simply slotting them in the Upgrade window.
