Game Description

Jem'Hadar technology is designed for one thing: combat.

The deflector dishes of Jem'Hadar attack ships amplify the tachyon particles that are created by cloaking devices and direct them toward the sensor arrays, giving Jem'Hadar ships an increased chance to detect a cloaked vessel. In addition, the deflector dishes are tuned to increase Jem'Hadar ships resistances to powers such as tractor beam that limit the ship's mobility.

Game Description

Jem'Hadar shield generators provide extra resistance to all energy types, because the Jem'Hadar must be prepared for any foe. Because their ships are more susceptible to kinetic shocks, the shield generators are enhanced to reduce incoming kinetic damage. In addition, because there are limited sickbay facilities on Jem'Hadar ships, their shield generators give the crew additional protection from becoming disabled. An injured warrior is of no use to the Dominion.
