The Jem'Hadar Vanguard Support Carrier is a Tier 6 Science Carrier which may be flown by Dominion characters, as well as characters of any other faction. All faction restrictions of this starship can be removed by having a level 65 KDF character or by purchasing the Cross Faction Flying unlock from the Zen Store. This starship can be used from any level upon completion of the tutorial experience. As you level up, this ship gains additional hull, weapon slots, and console slots.

Players can obtain this starship from the Zen Store for 3,000 . This ship can be purchased individually, or as part of the Cross Faction Support Carrier Bundle for 10,000 .

Purchasing this starship will unlock a Fleet Ship Module discount when purchasing the Fleet Jem'Hadar Vanguard Support Carrier.

Overview

The Jem’Hadar Vanguard Support Carrier is a powerful new addition to the Dominion Fleet. Designed to support any kind of operation, with the traditional Dominion focus on warfare, this carrier features substantial hangar bay space, and the capacity to launch a wide range of carrier pets. It additionally features powerful defensive systems – Victory is Life, but victory is more easily achieved with fewer losses. As with the other ships in the Vanguard line, this starship features a pair of Vanguard Wingmen that accompany the ship into battle.

Subsystem Targeting

The Jem'Hadar Vanguard Support Carrier comes with built-in Subsystem Targeting abilities. These built-in abilities stay at Rank I and do not automatically rank up when acquiring higher tier Science starships. They are separate from Subsystem Targeting abilities gained through Tactical Space Bridge officer abilities.

Activating a subsystem targeting ability will upgrade all energy weapons to inflict a stacking power drain on the foe's targeted subsystem for the next 10 seconds. They will also have a small chance to knock the targeted subsystem offline for a short duration.

Vanguard Wingmen

As a Vanguard starship, the Jem'Hadar Vanguard Support Carrier is issued two loyal Jem'Hadar ace pilots. These expert pilots fly their own Jem'Hadar Vanguard Heavy Raiders in formation with the player. Their extensive experience in team-based tactics allow them to execute powerful maneuvers.

Jem'Hadar Vanguards can perform the following maneuvers:

• Polaron Strafing Maneuver
• Structural Reinforcement Maneuver
• Divergent Shielding Maneuver

All maneuvers share a cooldown, and only one may be active at a time. Wingmen may not be ordered to attack specific targets, but will instead rapidly update their targeting parameters based on the player's chosen target.

If destroyed in combat, each Wingman will automatically rejoin the player after a short lockout period has passed.

T6-X upgrade

Note that upgrading the Fleet Jem'Hadar Vanguard Support Carrier, the fleet version of the Jem'Hadar Vanguard Support Carrier, will not apply the upgrade to this starship.
