Engineer Kani is a male Human Starfleet officer affiliated with the Odyssey Class Development Project. He was assigned to Earth Space Dock, and used to stand in front of Admiral Quinn's office during the Second and Third Year Anniversary Events.

Kani was present on ESD from February 2nd to 6th, 2012 as part of the 2 Year Anniversary Event.
With the release of Season Fourteen: Emergence, Kani was replaced by Captain Geordi La Forge as the mission contact for “Temporal Ambassador”.
