The Kepeszuk Battalion is a military unit of the Romulan military consisting of Remans. Its most prominent member and leader is General Xiomek.
Organization[]
- The battalion is based on Remus as of 2386. Xiomek has been labelled as General and Colonel in the unit.
- The Kepeszuk Battalion is allied with Commander Donatra until she and Xiomek vanish in an unknown stellar phenomena.
- It is not known if there are connections between the battalion and Obisek's Reman resistance.
- Members of the battalion are called "warriors".
History[]
- The Kepeszuk Battalion exists since at least the rule of Praetor Shinzon who died in 2379.
- Led by Xiomek, the battalion demands control of a continent on Romulus or a ressourceful planet. These demands prompt the new Praetor, Tal'aura, to blockade their homeworld.
- In 2381 the Unification movement enters into an alliance with the battalion which favors military action to change the Romulan Senate's stance while the Unificationists favor non-violence and diplomacy.
- An alliance with Commander Donatra results in the end of the blockade, granting of citizenship to all Remans and represention in the Senate in return for backing Donatra's forces. (2385)
- In the following year Xiomek, Donatra and Rehaek convince the Senate to grant the Remans a new planet: Crateris.
- Following another meeting of the two leaders, both Donatra as well as Xiomek go missing when the I.R.W. Vladore, which is transporting them to Romulus, is lost without a trace. (2387)
