Release date: October 13, 2021
The Kirk-class Temporal Heavy Battlecruiser is a Tier 6 Battlecruiser which may be flown by Starfleet characters, including Federation-aligned Romulan Republic and Dominion characters. All faction restrictions of this starship can be removed by having a level 65 KDF character or by purchasing the Cross Faction Flying unlock from the Zen Store. This starship can be used from any level upon completion of the tutorial experience. As you level up, this ship gains additional hull, weapon slots, and console slots.
Players can obtain this starship from a [Special Requisition Choice Pack - Tier 6 Promotional Ship Choice Pack], which has a ultra rare chance to drop from a [Infinity Promotion R&D Pack] or a [Infinity Promotion Duty Officer Pack]. This box is bound to you until a ship is chosen. The boxed ship is not bound and so may be traded to other players or bought and sold on the Exchange for energy credits under the name [Special Requisition Pack - Kirk Temporal Heavy Battlecruiser [T6]].
Overview[]
While this class of starship was originally conceptualized to be a successor to the iconic and beloved Constitution-class, the rigors of the era in which it was built have necessitated rather distinct departures from its intended ancestor - not the least of which in terms of scale. Additionally, the Kirk Temporal Heavy Battlecruiser has been outfitted with the latest in technologies useful for temporal analysis and manipulation. Although the use of this technology for actual time travel has been strictly forbidden in the period from which this starship originates, there will always be a need to break such rules on occasion, if dictated by the needs of the many.

SKIN UNLOCK: Free with this starship In a distant future timeline, Federation starships have undergone a number of interesting evolutions of both technology and aesthetics. The Kirk-class is named in honor of one of Starfleet’s most celebrated (and occasionally controversial) Captains, James T. Kirk. While this class of starship was originally conceptualized to be a successor to the iconic and beloved Constitution-class, the rigors of the era in which it was built have necessitated rather distinct departures from its intended ancestor - not the least of which in terms of scale. Long-range, deep-space exploration and frontier support entail the need for increased crew capacity, additional systemic redundancies, and a suite of defensive capabilities robust enough to handle being a one-ship-fleet at the edges of the Federation. |

Universal consoles[]
The Kirk Temporal Heavy Battlecruiser comes equipped with the [Console - Universal - Field-Replicated Buster Pods].
Battle Cloak
The Kirk-class Temporal Heavy Battlecruiser has a battle cloak that allows the ship to cloak during combat, granting stealth and a damage bonus upon decloaking. It has a unique 32nd century cloaking effect as seen in Season 3 of Star Trek: Discovery.
Molecular Reconstruction
Temporal Starships are capable of making subtle alterations on the molecular level through the use of Molecular Reconstruction. This technology allows the starship to assume 1 of 3 different Configurations: Offensive, Defensive and Support.
- (+Max Engine Power, +Turn, +Flight Speed, -Incoming Hull Healing)
- (+Max Shield Power, +Incoming Hull Healing, -Turn, -Flight Speed)
- (+Max Auxiliary Power, +Exotic Damage, +Control Strength, -Energy Weapon Damage)
Each of the configurations generates its own specific counter, which is then used to fuel the Molecular Deconstruction Beam.
- (Scaling Physical DoT, Heals Hull, Disable)

This table shows how the ship's hull strength scales at each level. The base hull of all scaling starships is 10,000, which is then multiplied by the ship's hull modifier (1.55 for the Kirk-class Temporal Heavy Battlecruiser), and then multiplied by the scaling multiplier below at each level.

Notes[]
- Like the in-game Janeway-class before it, despite being named the Kirk-class, this ship is referred to as a 31st-century Constitution-class in Star Trek: Discovery. Its name in Star Trek Online differs to prevent confusion between the various Constitution ship types. As a result, parts of the Kirk and other Constitution-class ships can not be combined.[1]
