Klingon Warship

There are several types of Klingon Warship (or Heavy Warship) that are simply referred to as Others in the new ship requisitions interface. This grouping includes Destroyers, Flight-Deck Cruisers, Support Vessels, and Carriers. This category generally includes vessels that are not of Klingon origin, but that were designed by species that were subjugated by the empire.

Specific types

Destroyers

Scourge class.

Destroyers are vessels generally of Nausicaan design and are small and powerful, similar to Raptors in their role. Destroyers lack a cloaking device, but are generally more agile than raptors and have greater offensive strength.

Flight-Deck Cruisers

Dacoit class.

Flight-Deck Cruisers are hybrid cruiser/light carriers designed by the Orion Syndicate. They are mid-sized vessels that can launch auxiliary craft to assist them in combat. The Flight-Deck cruiser strikes a good balance between regular and pet-based play, having very similar specifications to equivalent battle cruisers of the same tier, but with console slots sacrificed to fit a single hangar bay.

Support Vessels

Draguas class.

Support Vessels are mid-sized science vessels designed by the Gorn. They specialize in debuff and control powers, and work best when supporting other vessels in teams. Support Vessels are very similar in specification to Federation Science Vessels.

Carriers

Vo'Quv class.

Carriers are the largest vessels in the KDF fleet, and can launch waves of auxiliary craft. Carriers are slow and have poor maneuverability, but compensate for this with very strong defenses. A Carrier's main duty is usually a support role, though is can operate alone by supporting its own pets, allowing them to attack while the carrier can debuff and soften-up its opponents.
