Koolhaas Prime is a Class I gas supergiant located in the Koolhaas System, Risa Sector. The brown planet's ring is guarded by a number of irregular shepherd moons containing decalithium.
System description[ | ]
A ringed gas supergiant, Koolhaas has a hydrogen-astatine atmosphere with traces of ammonia. There is water in the lower layer of clouds, with methane in the upper layers. Wind speeds can reach more than 300 meters per second.
Missions involved[ | ]
- “Koolhaas System Patrol”: Long-range scans have detected decalithium deposits in the system, prompting Starfleet to send a vessel to investigate. Following skirmishes with KDF squadrons, the analysis reveals that the deposits present in the larger asteroids of the supergiant warrant mining.
