Release date: September 27, 2012
The Korath-class Temporal Science Vessel is a Tier 5 (Level 40) Science Vessel which may be flown by Klingon Defense Force characters and their allies, excluding Klingon Empire-aligned Romulan Republic characters. All faction restrictions of this starship can be removed by having a level 65 KDF character or by purchasing the Cross Faction Flying unlock from the Zen Store.
Players can obtain this starship as a ultra rare drop from the [Temporal Lock Box]. The boxed ship is not bound and so may be traded to other players or bought and sold on the Exchange for energy credits under the name [Special Requisition Pack - Temporal Science Vessel]. The choice box's contents depend on the player's faction; Klingon Empire players will receive the Korath Temporal Science Vessel when opening it.
Overview[ | ]
The Tholians have been up to their old tricks. Their obsession with time travel, the mirror universe, quantum realities and related technologies seems to motivate their every move. Even their ships' warp cores often tear holes in the fabric of the universe when they breach. In addition, newly unclassified evidence suggests the Tholians were responsible, or at least heavily involved, in the loss of the Constitution class U.S.S. Defiant in 2268.
Recently detected activity reveals several Tholian asteroids bases in or around the Azure Nebula. Several Federation and Klingon Starships have been detected at these bases, many of which demonstrate an unusual quantum or temporal signature. A few covert strike teams have been sent to this region. These teams have brought back a handful of amazing discoveries - - among them, 29th Century Starships!
The Korath-class Temporal Science Vessel is one of these starships. Most of the advanced technology from these ships has been stripped, and has been replaced with contemporary equipment.

SKIN UNLOCK: Free A rare sight in the Klingon fleet, the Korath class is a Science Vessel, designed for warriorswho appreciate a more scientific approach to combat. The basic outline of its hull is reminiscent of the 25th century Naj'sov-class Research Vessel, but its future origin is clearly visible - similar to Starfleet's own timeship, it lacks warp nacelles. The warp coils are situated in the wings instead. |

SKIN UNLOCK: Qul'poH Temporal Science Vessel, 1 Not much differentiates the Qul'poh class from the Korath; it sports a slightly different hull livery, smaller Bussard collectors located closer to the tips of the ship's wings, and a large "glass dome" aft of its neck section. The tips of the wings also sweep downwards at a sharper angle. |

Abilities[ | ]
Universal consoles[ | ]
The Korath Temporal Science Vessel comes equipped with the [Console - Universal - Tipler Cylinder].
This ability is part of the Temporal Fragmentation System Set, which also includes [Console - Universal - Manheim Device] and [Console - Universal - Temporal Distortions] obtainable with Krenn Temporal Destroyer (T5) and Paradox Temporal Dreadnought (T6), but also equippable on the Korath Temporal Science Vessel. For each console added after the first, an additional passive bonus is unlocked.
The Korath Temporal Science Vessel can also equip Enhanced variants of Tipler Cylinder and Manheim Device consoles from the Qul'poH Temporal Science Vessel (T6) and Chargh'poH Temporal Destroyer (T6).
Sensor Analysis[]
Sensor Analysis is an active toggle ability. While maintaining a Sensor Lock on a target, the player gains a stacking effect that either improves the damage and power drain against an enemy, or improves any heal directed towards an ally. This effect stacks every 3 seconds, to a maximum of 6 stacks after 18 continuous seconds. To maintain the desired effect, the player must hold the sensor lock.
Subsystem Targeting[]
The Korath-class Temporal Science Vessel comes with built-in Subsystem Targeting abilities. These built-in abilities stay at Rank I and do not automatically rank up when acquiring higher tier Science starships. They are separate from Subsystem Targeting abilities gained through Tactical Space Bridge officer abilities.
- Target Auxiliary Subsystems I
- Target Weapons Subsystems I
- Target Engines Subsystems I
- Target Shields Subsystems I
Activating a subsystem targeting ability will upgrade all energy weapons to inflict a stacking power drain on the foe's targeted subsystem for the next 10 seconds. They will also have a small chance to knock the targeted subsystem offline for a short duration.
Standard configuration[ | ]
