All faction restrictions of this starship can be removed by having a level 65 KDF character or by purchasing the Cross Faction Flying unlock from the Zen Store. This starship can be used from any level upon completion of the tutorial experience. As you level up, this ship gains additional hull, weapon slots, and console slots.
Players can obtain this starship from the Zen Store for 3,000 under the name Tactical Pilot Raptor - Kortar Class. This ship can be purchased individually, or as part of the Klingon Pilot Raptor Bundle for 6,000 . It is also available as part of the following: Pilot Escort Mega Bundle [T6] for 12,000 .

Klingon Raptors have always been among the most maneuverable and powerful ships in the quadrant, but recent advances in technology have shown that even the most feared of ships can be improved upon. Therefore, a team at Ganalda Station has developed designs for new warships intended for captains who value speed as well as firepower. These small, nimble ships have the power needed to take on even the mighty Heralds, but the speed needed to escape danger in an instant.
Pilot vessels are highly agile craft designed to perform advanced maneuvers that can give them a deadly edge in combat. By double tapping your directional movement keys your starship will perform a maneuver in that direction.
The Kortar-class Pilot Raptor is tactical-oriented - it features a more balanced console slot configuration and boasts higher-rank tactical bridge officer seats than other Pilot Raptor variants.

A science-oriented variant, the Klavek class lacks a certain amount of aggressiveness visible on the other two classes. The ship has a slightly shorter wingspan with wings angled downwards, and has a mission pod-shaped command center between the "head" and "neck" section.

Built in the wake of the Iconian War, the Kortar class and its sister classes feature an aggressive, combat-ready look with large weapon pods mounted on their forward-swept wings. Large impulse manifolds give a sense of great speed and maneuverability.

The Qui'tu class shares design characteristics of both sister classes, such as elongated design with long the "neck" seen on the Klavek, and large disruptor turrets and red exhausts across the sides of the "head" found on the Kortar. The front of the hull is "forked", separated into two sections by a deflector array.

This ability is part of the Piloting Modifications Set, which also includes [Console - Universal - Subspace Eddy] and [Console - Universal - Spatial Sinkhole Generator] obtainable with Engineering Pilot Raptor (T6) and Science Pilot Raptor (T6), but also equippable on the Kortar Tactical Pilot Raptor. For each console added after the first, an additional passive bonus is unlocked.

The Kortar-class Tactical Pilot Raptor has a cloak that allows the ship to cloak when not in combat, granting stealth and a damage bonus upon decloaking.
The Kortar-class Tactical Pilot Raptor comes with an Experimental Weapon slot. This additional slot does not fit standard weapons. Unlike standard starship weapons, Experimental weapons are not affected by weapon firing modes, such as those granted by bridge officer abilities.
Pilot ships can perform a sudden maneuver in each horizontal direction: Forward, Backward, Left or Right. Executing each maneuver will rapidly reposition your starship while granting very brief damage immunity, but costs all available thruster fuel which takes several seconds to recover.
Klingon starships come with standard equipment and weapons of the lowest mark available at the ship's minimum rank. The items provided are appropriate to the type of vessel and its related playing style.
This starship's equipment slots, base hull capacity and shield capacity scale as your level increases.

As you rank up every 10 levels, up to level 40, the ship's forward weapon slots, aft weapon slots, tactical console slots, engineering console slots, science console slots and available bridge officer (boff) abilities will slowly increase toward endgame capabilities:
